About Cygnus Support
Cygnus Support is a charity providing free mental health and wellbeing services across Northumberland, including counselling, psychotherapy, education and training. Based in Ashington, Cygnus also runs outreach hubs in Blyth, Hexham, Berwick and Alnwick. One-to-one counselling is available for anyone aged 14 or over who is a resident of Northumberland, covering issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and domestic abuse. Sessions can be face-to-face at outreach venues or by telephone. Referrals are made via an online form on the Cygnus Support website, and there is no charge for the service.
