Festive Late Nights at Seaton Delaval Hall
Seaton Delaval Hall opens late on two December evenings with the north front lit, festive decorations, live music and family crafts.
About This Event
For two evenings, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, the National Trust keeps Seaton Delaval Hall open until 8pm for a relaxed Christmas visit. The Vanbrugh hall's north front is lit up, the interiors are dressed for the season, and there are family crafts in the Stables Workshop and seasonal treats in the Brewhouse. Live music runs through both nights, including comic classical violinist Sid Bowfin, carols from The Lovely Nellys and the saxophone and clarinet ensemble Wayward Wind on the Friday. The gardens stay closed and this is not a light trail. No booking is needed; the event itself is free but normal admission applies, and National Trust members go free.
