The Wallaw is Blyth's Wetherspoon pub, set inside the handsome former Wallaw Cinema on Union Street, a well-known local landmark that the chain restored and reopened as a pub. As at other Wetherspoons, it serves an all-day food menu, a rotating range of real ales and craft beers, and coffee, at the group's characteristically low prices, making it a dependable spot for breakfast, lunch or an evening drink in the town centre.
Its central location a short walk from Blyth Market Place makes it an easy meeting point, and the preserved cinema frontage gives it more character than a typical high-street bar. Families are welcome until early evening, and the pub takes part in Wetherspoon's regular real-ale and food festivals through the year.
