About St Oswald's Hospice

The St Oswald's Hospice shop at Albion Retail Park in Blyth (NE24 5BS) was the hospice's first shop in the town and one of its network of charity shops across the North East. Spanning just under 4,000 square feet, it was conceived as a modern "new concept" store, featuring eye-catching artwork by illustrator James Dixon (Lines Behind) with a large exterior mural and internal vinyls, plus a coffee machine so shoppers can grab a drink while they browse. The hospice's Head of Retail described the shop as a permanent presence in an area that has long supported St Oswald's.

The shop stocks a wide range of quality pre-loved goods including furniture, fashion, books, toys and homeware, and takes donations through a convenient donation hatch. All proceeds support St Oswald's Hospice, a North East charity providing specialist care for adults and children with life-limiting conditions through inpatient care, day services, lymphoedema treatment and family support, alongside research and education.
