Four charity shops across Regent Street, Waterloo Road, and Albion Retail Park -- BHF, British Red Cross, Barnardo's, and St Oswald's Hospice.

Blyth has four charity shops spread across the town centre and retail park. Two sit on Regent Street, one on Waterloo Road, and the newest is out at Albion Retail Park. Here is what each one offers.

British Heart Foundation

British Heart Foundation at 24 Regent Street sells second-hand clothes, books, toys, and homewares. It is one of the most central charity shops in Blyth, right on the main shopping street. Open Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 5pm and Sundays 10:30am to 4pm.

Best for: Central Regent Street location, Sunday opening.

British Red Cross

British Red Cross at 13 Regent Street is a few doors down from BHF. The shop sells clothes, household items, and electrical goods. Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm (closed Sundays).

Best for: Regent Street, electrical goods, weekday shopping.

Barnardo's

Barnardo's at 74 Waterloo Road sells books, clothes, accessories, electrical items, homewares, and music. Open seven days a week including Sundays 10am to 4pm. All profits support Barnardo's work with vulnerable children and young people.

Best for: Seven-day opening, Waterloo Road, wide stock range.

St Oswald's Hospice

St Oswald's Hospice at Albion Retail Park is the newest of the four, and the largest. The shop is stocked with furniture, fashion, books, toys, and more. The retail park location means easy parking and a spacious browsing experience. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4:30pm. All profits support St Oswald's Hospice.

Best for: Furniture, retail park, spacious, free parking.

Tips

Sunday opening: BHF and Barnardo's are both open Sundays.

Best for furniture: St Oswald's Hospice at Albion Retail Park.

Central shopping: BHF and British Red Cross are side by side on Regent Street.
