Blyth Golf Club

Eighteen-hole parkland golf club at New Delaval with a driving range, pro shop and bar, plus a refurbished 1905 Bar function room holding up to 120 guests and a large free car park.

About Blyth Golf Club

Blyth Golf Club has been part of the town since 1905 and plays over an eighteen-hole parkland course at New Delaval, on the western edge of Blyth. The layout runs to a little over 6,400 yards at par 72, tree-lined and gently undulating, with water coming into play on several of the later holes. Alongside the course there is a driving range, a professional's shop, changing rooms and a bar and restaurant, and the club describes itself as community-rooted with more than a century of history behind it. Visitors and societies are welcome as well as members, and visiting parties are invited to contact the club for a package rather than booking online.

The clubhouse has been refurbished and its 1905 Bar doubles as the club's function room, holding up to 120 guests with views over the course and a large free car park outside. The club lists birthdays, retirements, anniversaries, christenings, engagements, funerals and wedding receptions among the occasions it caters for, with a choice of catering to suit different budgets, so a works Christmas party or any other large private function is well within its range. Function enquiries go to the hospitality team on 01670 540110, option 5, or by email, and the club encourages people to visit and look at the room before booking.
