About Morwick Dairy Ice Cream

Morwick Dairy is a farm ice cream parlour at Morwick Farm in Acklington, roughly a twenty-minute drive north of Blyth, where traditional farmhouse-style ice cream is made using milk from the farm’s own pedigree Ayrshire and Holstein herd. Housed in a converted part of the milking shed, the parlour lets visitors watch the cows while they enjoy their ice cream, with a wide and frequently changing range of flavours running from classics through to more unusual creations.

There is an adventure play area in front for children, making it a popular family stop on a day out along the Northumberland coast. Although it sits some way north of Blyth rather than in the town itself, its farm setting, own-herd milk and generous flavour range make it a worthwhile short trip for ice cream lovers across the wider area.
