About Mister Ridleys Parlour

Tucked inside Ridley Park in the lovingly restored Edwardian bowling pavilion, Mister Ridleys Parlour is the sort of park cafe locals are quietly proud of. Everything is made from scratch, from home-baked cakes and scones to hearty cooked breakfasts of pancakes and eggs Benedict, alongside freshly ground coffee and a proper vintage-style afternoon tea served through the afternoon. Open year round, seven days a week, it is a warm and characterful spot whether you are pausing mid-walk or settling in for a leisurely brunch. In fine weather the tables spill out onto the park's former south-facing bowling green, one of the nicest alfresco settings in Blyth, and dogs are welcome throughout. With the park's play areas, gardens and splash play right on the doorstep it makes an easy family stop, and its home cooking and friendly welcome have earned it a devoted local following.
