Christmas Trees at Meldon Park
Seasonal Christmas tree farm near Meldon, west of Morpeth, with cut-your-own Norway spruce, pre-cut Nordmann firs and pot-grown trees.
About Christmas Trees at Meldon Park
Christmas Trees at Meldon Park has been selling real Christmas trees for more than 30 years from The Strawberry Field at Temple Thornton, near Meldon, west of Morpeth and around 25 minutes' drive from Blyth. Visitors can pick and cut their own Norway spruce grown on the estate: collect a saw, choose a tree, cut it, have it wrapped and pay. Pre-cut Nordmann firs from a Northumberland family farm and pot-grown Norway spruce are also sold.
Pot-grown trees returned after Christmas earn a voucher towards next year's tree. The farm opens for the season in late November, usually Thursday to Sunday, and opening dates are posted on its website each year, so check before you set off. Gloves and boots are recommended for cutting your own.
