About Briardale House Youth Club

Briardale House is a community hub and youth centre in Blyth, run by Briardale House Youth & Community Projects Ltd. Rather than being solely a youth club, it operates as a multifunctional venue serving all ages, with weekly clubs and activities described as spanning "birth to 100 years," from baby and toddler groups through to fitness, hobby and senior sessions. The building is fully accessible with off-street parking and houses an in-house community cafe, making it a welcoming central resource for families and residents across the town.

Alongside its weekly programme, Briardale House runs a Thursday youth club for ages 7 to 13 and hosts activities including its Woodcraft Wonders woodworking sessions and use of its outdoor space. The community cafe serves homemade meals and supports a meals-on-wheels delivery service, while rooms are available to hire for group bookings, meetings, events and private parties. The centre also offers volunteering opportunities, reinforcing its role as a genuinely community-run and community-focused facility.
