Blyth Charity BRIC Honoured for 40 Years of Free Adult Skills Training

A Blyth charity that has quietly helped local adults build their confidence and their skills for more than four decades has been given well-deserved recognition. BRIC, the Blyth Resource and Initiative Centre, has received a prestigious award for its long-running commitment to free adult education in the town.

Established in 1983, BRIC describes itself as the only place in Blyth offering a wide range of free training courses and support services under one roof. Crucially, all of this is provided at no cost to the people who use it.
