Starlight Express: Live On Stage (Screening)
A big-screen showing of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express, filmed live at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
About This Event
This filmed stage production captures the musical in the purpose-built Starlight Auditorium, where a cast of 40 races around the audience on roller skates. The story follows a child's toy train set that comes to life, with the engines competing to be crowned the fastest in the world. The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, and the screening brings the West End staging to Blyth's community theatre for one night.
