Tempest Martial Arts

Family martial arts academy running kickboxing and karate from the Albion Activity Centre in Blyth, with age-specific classes six days a week from as young as two and a free introductory session.

About Tempest Martial Arts

Tempest Martial Arts runs its Blyth classes from the Albion Activity Centre on Albion Way, teaching kickboxing alongside karate, child development and fitness. Classes are organised into clear age bands and run six days a week, so nobody is grouped with children much older or younger than them. Its Cubs sessions start from as young as two or three on Saturday mornings before stepping up through dedicated kids, teens and adult programmes.

The academy is built around families and newcomers, offering a free introductory class so you can try before committing, and the Albion centre has an on-site cafe where parents can wait comfortably while children train. That combination of age-appropriate classes, a welcoming venue and a free taster makes it an easy first step into martial arts for households across Blyth.
