About Blyth Town FC

Blyth Town Football Club was founded in 1995, initially as a junior club with three boys' teams, and has since grown into a full community club with senior, junior and ladies football. The men's first team plays in the Northern League, and the club holds FA Charter Standard Community status, reflecting its strong grassroots focus. It provides an alternative senior football option in the town alongside the better-known Blyth Spartans, and the two clubs help make Blyth one of the busiest footballing towns of its size in the region.

Home matches are played at South Newsham Playing Fields on Sandringham Drive (NE24 3PS), a well-used sports ground on the south side of Blyth. The club runs a large junior section through the local youth leagues as well as a ladies team, and welcomes new players, coaches and volunteers.
