About Blyth Spartans Juniors

Blyth Spartans Juniors is the town's biggest grassroots football club, giving hundreds of local children a route into the game from the age of four upwards. More than 450 young people are registered across roughly thirty teams and ten age groups, playing boys' and girls' football in the Northumberland Football League, with Little Spartans sessions for four to six year olds and development training for those aged seven and over. The club shares its name and green-and-white colours with senior side Blyth Spartans AFC, giving young players a clear identity and something to aspire to.

The club is based at Wensleydale Park in Blyth (NE24 3EZ), which has both grass and 3G all-weather pitches, changing facilities and a kitchen serving refreshments on most match days. Run by a large team of volunteer coaches and managers, it welcomes new players of all abilities as well as parents and helpers willing to get involved.
