About Blyth Lifeguard & Swimming Club

Blyth Lifeguard & Swimming Club (BLSC) combines a swimming club with lifesaving training. Its programme runs from learn-to-swim sessions for children through to competitive swimming, and it also teaches lifesaving skills and runs pool lifeguard qualification courses.

The club has no premises of its own and trains at Blyth Sports Centre on Bolam Avenue. It is also known locally for organising Blyth's annual Christmas Day Dip. Membership details, session times and course dates are on the club's website.
