About This Event
Blackfriars Restaurant occupies a 13th-century Dominican friary in the heart of Newcastle — one of the oldest purpose-built dining rooms in the country. Their cookery workshops are hugely popular, and this Indian-themed session offers a hands-on morning learning to prepare authentic dishes under the guidance of the Blackfriars kitchen team. Blackfriars has been at the forefront of Newcastle's food scene since it reopened in 2001, championing local and seasonal ingredients in a setting that oozes medieval atmosphere. The workshops are a perfect gift experience or a sociable way to pick up new skills in a genuinely remarkable building.
